joint venture, with registered capitalof $3,000,000 and overall capital of over $10,000,000. It is located in the northern industrial zone of Qingdao City. On the northern side of Laoshan Mount, and 15 kilometers away from Qingdao International Airport, Meiying Co***ny enjoys convenient traffic and a beautiful environmentThe co***ny covers an area of 40,000 square meters, with manufactory workshops, refrigeratory rooms, office buildings and staff dormitory of 18,000 square meters built in. Meiying is now mainly manufacturing, processing and exporting food of three types:
I. Kimchi. Two advantages are made full use of:
1.Being located nearby Laoshan Mount, where there is plenty of high-quality underground water;
2. Being next to Jiaodong Peninsula, which is a vegetable-producing base. Kimchi is produced in this co***ny under the directions of experts from South Korea with the traditional Korean techniques. Of various varieties and types, the products sell well in Japan, South Korea and other countries.
II. Dried fruit. The co***ny processes dried fruit produced from the whole world for Meiji Co., Ltd, the largest food corporation in Japan.
III. Several kinds of beans. Red bean jam with sugar,
frozen boiled azuki beans, frozen boiled red bean jam with sugar are produced and processed in this co***ny, all of which are for exportation.
